JUNE 3 - We went into town and did laundry and ran several errands. Then to Mandarin Garden for lunch, a haircut for Mark and manicure for me. Back to Daisy for a few hours. My Exchange Club banquet was at The Ozark House with delicious food and fun to have so many members and spouses present. Mark and I did the program on the Blue Angels. Then to Schooners to hear Patrick play and sing his 80's tunes. Anne and boys and other friends were there - a beautiful evening in the beer garden.
JUNE 4 - Started the day off exercising (been sore and stiff, so getting back at this gradually!!!) Then to town and 1st stop was Starbucks for cinnamon dolce lattes for Donna Rae and me. We had a good visit and big hugs and good wishes for her upcoming hip replacement. Then to Fresh Market for a few groceries. Off to Ann's (Sublettian friend) for a Central IL contingent of Sublettians for delicious lunch and visit (FOUR hours), including Ann's daughter, Katie and grandsons, Quentin and Ronan visiting from Colorado. Very enjoyable afternoon on Ann's porch overlooking her pretty backyard.

Picked Liam and Connor up and we stopped at grocery store for a few things and on to campground. They are staying with us for a few hours while Mommy is at the Chocolate/Cheese/Wine Festival at the Parke Hotel and Patrick is providing the entertainment.
We took the boys to the Carlock Family Restaurant for supper - very good food and close by!

So it's good to be here at Kamp Komfort - we are right along I-74, so lots of traffic, but getting used to it and train tracks are on the other side of us, but not many trains go by. It's a small, pretty park with lots of trees, pool, big field for the boys to wander and play.
Tomorrow we are off to Rockford with Daisy and Toad for 3 days of Blue Angel fun with several family and friends coming over the weekend!
