Tuesday - June 9

We left Kamp Komfort at 8 AM and off to visit the kinfolk today.    First stop was my cousin, Jim at the Mendota Lutheran Home   Hadn't seen Jim since last fall.   Then to Dixon and picked up Mark's Mom for a trip to Sterling and visit his sister, Joan who is recovering from ankle replacement surgery.    She's doing pretty well, but therapy is just beginning, so a long haul still ahead.    She earlier had a knee replacement done and 1 more ankle and knee coming up!    Joan is a trooper
with great attitude and sense of humor!
You Go Girl!!!
I took lunch and we 4 had a really nice visit.

Back to Grandma.....Mark's Mom fell Sunday afternoon after she got up from the table playing cards with 3 other ladies.   Her face got the brunt of it and she has 2 very nasty black eyes, a cut on her forehead and other aches and pains.    Whoaaaa.....sure feel for her and the soreness that will
last a while as she heals.

Stopped in Mendota to see my Aunt Marian.....she is dealing with health issues, too, but always a treat to visit with her.   So then we skedaddled on home to get Daisy ready, finish packing, Toad hooked up, clean out fridge, etc., etc.

Off to Catrina tomorrow!
