Sunday - June 7

Another great day in Rockford......started raining around 6 AM and big threat for all day long, but boy...we really lucked out    Went to 9:00 Mass at St. Edward.     Got to the airport around 12:30 and big crowd (not like yesterday, but considering the weather, there was a lot of people. )    More friends and family came and so excited that Anne, Patrick, Liam and Connor arrived just before 3.    The boys ballgame was canceled cause of the rain.   This was their first time to see Ryan fly.

Just after the show ended, it started sprinkling.    Back to the campground, hooked up Daisy and on our way with a quick stop in Mendota for supper.   Kept checking radar - not pretty....
Our niece, Bridget and fiance', Adam

Nephew Chris and friends, Brian, Jenny, Elizabeth and Hailey and Alex (our great nephew)
in lime shirt
Patrick Anne, Liam and Connor all set for the Blues take-off

Here we are after the kids (big and small) first air show watching Ryan

Close-up of Ryan

It is 8:40 and we are home.....drove thru horrendous rain and strong winds.    Not fun driving Miss Daisy and seeing sooo much water in the fields and ditches +++ more coming    The radar is nasty looking and we are very happy to be in our campsite.    And glad Ryan is back in Pensacola
(probably long before we got home with all that speed!!!

CHEERS to Rockford for a fantastic Air Fest 2015!

Wishing you all a good week!
