Monday - the last hurrah....June 29

Hey.....we and Catrina made it to Annapolis safe 'n sound. at 4:30    We left at 6 AM and the first 3.5 hours were not fun....rough seas and stronger winds than predicted +++the tide was pushing in one direction and the wind, in the other?    At least that's what Mark speculated?   Once we crossed past the Potomac, things improved greatly and rest of the trip was uneventful.   Started out the day wearing our fleece jackets (60 degrees) when we left, but gradually warmed up to 81 with lots of sunshine and pretty puffy clouds.

We are at the Annapolis Landing Marina for 2-3 nights - all depends on what the mechanics have to say,    We will rent a car and drive to Oxford tomorrow to get our truck.

Gave Catrina a good scrubbing - so much thick salt (margaritas anyone?    we have the salt...well, we did,  but all clean and shiny once again! )

Just thankful to be here....stay tuned for further updates!
