A beautiful sunny Sunday with high of 55 after a morning low of 35. Very little wind made a big difference, too!
After breakfast we went to Buckhead Ridge (17 miles away on other side of lake) to
St. Theresa of the Child Jesus for 10:00 Mass. Love these churches in little towns as we all sing Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary to anyone celebrating after Mass.
Left church and drove back to Okeechobee and did 4 loads of laundry, then to Pogey's for lunch. We had heard that their huge tenderloin was really good AND the Reuben omelet. This is a breakfast/lunch place. Mark had the tenderloin and I chose the omelet. Well we were both very happy. Who would've thought - a "Reuben" omelet? Absolutely delicious!
Back to Daisy and put clean clothes away and I went for a long walk around the park. Such a pretty day. Had a light supper and just hunkered down!
