Tuesday - April 11

It was nice to be out and about today after many days on the water....an Enterprise shuttle from Gloucester picked us up at 10:30 (1/2 hour late) and we rode to the Enterprise business with a nice couple from MA also on their boat and heading home for a while.

We got our car and then drove to Newport News and ran several errands, (Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond, etc.) - had a yummy lunch at P. F. Changs (food was great but s l o w service) and then to the Newport News airport where we turned in our rental and got a different one from Budget.    Ahhhh, the logistics when you're nomads!    Ha......we'll be taking it to  Hickory but Enterprise has a drop-off charge of $150 on top of the rental fee!!!    (Enterprise was only option in Gloucester + they could come pick us up, so...)    We got the 2nd rental and on back to Deltaville.  All the beauty of the trees budding out, flowering trees and azaleas made for a great day for a little jaunt!  Wow!!!

Springtime in Virginia!

Back to Catrina and filled up bins with all our stuff we're taking for the next 6 weeks and loaded up our SUV....we're packed to the gills!    Stuff for Daisy, stuff for NC, and more stuff to take back to Bloomington and storage.!

Yummy Chinese leftovers for supper!

Tomorrow - Catrina comes out of the water and Lake James, here we come!

These little sweethearts + Cousin Blair are waiting for their G and G!
