Wednesday - April 12

Another pretty day in Virginia and we were up and going early as they told us Catrina would be lifted out first thing this morning.....WRONG.....I went to The Café by the Bay (great little place for breakfast and lunch that we've enjoyed before) and picked up breakfast and we waited till 10:30.     I And then tah dah.....here she comes....

Adam (service manager) and Mark watching the lift out

I ran some errands for Mark and browsed a few little shops - nothing much for me to do while the guys did their thing.   Also sat in the car and read.    Deltaville is a little town (settled in 1642) of only 1,000, but that # swells big time during the summer months as many many folks have boats or homes  here and come from Richmond (74 miles straight west).    But for this little town, it was neat to see clothes blowing in the wind on the clothes line (haven't seen that for awhile - but can imagine that
fresh-air smell) and 4 nice gift shops with a new clothing store opening soon.

I picked up lunch at Café by the Bay (there is a severe shortage of restaurants, though).   We were on our way at 3:00 and stopped for supper in South Hill, VA (good comfort food at Cracker Barrel) and onto Henderson, NC for the night.

Tomorrow.........off to see the North Carolina grandchildren and so excited about spending Easter weekend with them all!

Annette sent a video tonight of Maeve starting to crawl...
"Girl on the Move!"     Can't wait to see her in action!
