ANNETTE

Birthday Girl

Annette celebrates today big time - her birthday and Easter.  Wishing a fun day and year ahead to our sweet "daughter" who is such a special part of our family.

Hope everyone had a very special Easter Sunday.    The Bunny found Flo and delivered lots of goodies to Blair + hid a bunch of eggs in the she shed and outdoors.    She was just a bit excited before we left to pick up Michael at the hotel.    We went to 9:00 Mass at Church of the Resurrection.   It was a beautiful service presided by Father Toner (a beloved Irish priest we remember from several years ago when we went to this church before moving to Cypress Trail.)    The church was standing-room only with lots of lilies and hydrangeas plus a wonderful Italian vocalist - wow.....love all those halleluiahs!

Then to Fancy's Southern Cafe for excellent breakfasts (the guys each had the corned beef hash, potatoes and eggs.    Blair had a waffle and bacon and I had an omelet with hash browns).

The Bunny was very generous with Blair

Happy Easter!
Off to the pool
Pool fun until all the rain came

Then to the airport for Michael's afternoon flight back to Lake James.    We sure appreciate him bringing Blair and so enjoyed our fun, but short time showing him around Fort Myers.

The rain started a short time later and poured for a bit.   We came back to Flo and just rested a bit, then Blair and I went to the pool but the sky was sure threatening, so probably had about 1/2 hour of good swim time and then the heavens opened up again.

Yesterday when Michael and I were in Naples, Blair arranged (with Grandpa's help) a scavenger hunt for my belated birthday gifts.   She was very clever putting clues together and hiding them.

Life is good T-shirt and On Cloud tennies

Our family has been on the move - Michael is back home from Fort Myers; Philip, Annette, Luke and Maeve enjoyed a fun (but cold and rainy) weekend at Dollywood and Ryan is off to Paris for 5 days.

Eight on Zoom tonight with the usual chatter - how we all spent Easter, new games, and Blair made an appearance, said "hi" and then we talked about our plans with her this week
