Monday - April 3

Another scorcher...we left home at 8:20 for our dental appointments (hygienists Danielle and Laura) but neither of us needed to see Dr. Baxmann today.

Went across the street to Biscotti's (another favorite for coffees/breakfast/lunch) and shared an orange/cranberry muffin with our coffee.   Ran a few more errands and then met John, Beth, Doug and Charlotte at Cristof's for our last "hurrah of the season" lunch - we've had so many fun times together but Charlotte and Doug are leaving Wednesday for Annapolis.    We sat at "our" favorite table in the corner on the porch and with the ceiling fans going full speed and a nice breeze, it was very comfortable.   Lunch was delicious as always.....sooo fun!

My absolutely delicious Cajun chicken sandwich on this neat "engraved" bun

We hope to get together with John and Beth one more time when Blair is here next week.

Mark came home and set to work taking out the old (only 5 years) water heater.   He had talked to a plumber who said he installs these, but doesn't service???    So, Mark found one at Home Depot and the installation is underway.

Another very sad story.    The father of one of Liam's friends passed away today after being in a coma for 2 years.   We don't know all the details but my heart breaks for this family - Liam will be a good supportive friend to Aiden.

After school today, Liam was off to CCHS 1st tennis match in Decatur.    Aiden is on the team, too.
