We were off to 7:30 Mass at St. Francis but this morning it was just a communion service with Deacon Nick as all the diocesan priests were in Venice for a special Mass of the Chrism. Stopped at Williams Ace Hardware and then Hardees for breakfast.
It was sweltering today with no breeze! Jim came over and the guys got the installation of new water heater finished. BIG thanks to Jim and glad the brothers got this figured out - not an easy task! Tomorrow we'll get the shed back in shape.
Took a bunch of stuff off Flo as Sandra and her mother from AP Maintenance were coming to give Flo a good deep-cleaning! We had 2 hours to do whatever and be out of their way so we drove downtown and had a delicious slice of pizza from "Downtown Pizza by the Slice". Sat in the plaza under an umbrella, but decided some other place with air would be best. So, we sat inside near the new Banyan Hotel (formerly Indigo) and used our I-pads. On home to a clean, sparkling, oh-so-fresh smelling Flo.
We got all the stuff transferred back inside and enjoyed a facetime chat with Blair - just 3 days till she and Daddy fly down here, so we went over some of her favorite foods, drinks, snacks, etc.
All that heat stirred up a nice downpour around 7......but the heat will be back tomorrow and the next day and the day after.............
