Hello from Rocky's Campground near Perry, FL    Our day started with getting Daisy ready to hit the road again and driving to Port Orange where we met Gary and Linda (friends of Mark's parents) for breakfast at Steve's Diner.   Always a good place to "meet 'n eat" and enjoyed our time together (3rd year we've met here)

Gary and Linda

Beautiful day for traveling and oohed and aahed at the gorgeous lilac bushes and flowering trees.   We stopped in High Springs to stretch our legs, Mark got a haircut and I browsed the shops.    Small world...a guy was in the barber shop getting a haircut just before Mark and lo and behold it was someone he knew from State Farn (they both retired in 2006).    Ken now lives in High Springs.

We're settled here in the boonies (not quite to the Panhandle) with neighbors from Georgia and Texas beside us - no phone service, but good internet coverage.    Watching the news from Japan is soo heart wrenching and sad.    Cannot imagine the magnitude of what they are dealing with.

HAPPY ST. PADDY'S DAY to all...
Apalachicola....here we come!!!
