Sunny start to the day, but then mostly cloudy and only 53! I got a pedicure in the morning and then picked Connor up from school. He and Grandpa had lunch together and I met the Mid Illini gals at Jim's Steak House for yummy petite Maurice salads. Only 4 of us today - Barb, Carol, Linda and myself. I went with Barb to her daughter, Nikki's home to meet "Lexi" who was born 5 weeks ago. She's sooo tiny and precious!

Home to play some solitaire on the computer with Connor. Patrick and Liam came from school and got Connor - boys were both wearing pj's today as it was "jammie day" at school.
On a spur of the moment, we decided on some "comfort food" this chilly evening and grabbed our gift card (Christmas gift) and headed to Olive Garden for some good pasta and wine. Stopped at Schnucks for a few groceries and then browsed around Barnes and Noble.
Had a meeting of our Mid Illini Power Squadron at Gerry and Linda's - home now and glad to be out of the cold! We could have scattered frost by morning - crazy weather just doesn't go away!
