Monday - March 9

Sunny, warm Monday and so happy that spring has spring back in IL!!!!    We exercised and then went to 9:30 Mass, followed by a quick stop at Biscotti for a delicious Danish (raspberry) for Mark  and a latte and blueberry biscotti and latte for me.  Home for just a bit and then I picked up Connie and we met Sue and Natalie (granddaughter) at University Grill for lunch.

We sat on the screened-in porch overlooking the water.
1st time for me and it was excellent!    Lots of chatter over lunch and always fun to be with Sue and Connie AND, extra special to have Natalie who is visiting on spring break with us

After lunch, Connie and I went to her church to see the beautiful quilts on display (fund raiser which Connie is in charge of)!    Some very talented ladies that's for sure!

My cold is so so.....voice is a little raspy, but overall, don't feel too bad!
Just takin' it one day at a time!

We packed some this afternoon and did laundry.     Getting so excited for our trip to CA to see Ryan fly on Friday/Saturday with the Blue Angels as they kick off their 2015 season.
And, there will be 12 friends there with us to cheer on the Blues, coming from Chandler, Scottsdale and Lake Havasu City, AZ and Palm Springs, CA.

I'll never forget Friday, July 13, 2012 when Ryan called to tell us he was selected to be a Blue Angel.    Mark was driving Daisy and we were just pulling into an RV park in Clarksboro,
New Jersey.    And now exactly 2 years and 8 months later on Friday, March 13, 2015, Ryan will be making his inaugural flight with the demonstration team!!!
