Thursday - July 2

Cool and cloudy day - just a few sprinkles, but sure looked threatening at times.    We exercised, finished loading up our stuff into truck and drove the boat over to the Bert Jabin Yacht Yard which was close by and where we were when the Blue Angels flew over for the Naval Academy graduation.

There was another boat in the travel lift (they have 3, but only one is wide enough for Catrina).   This is a huge place with lots of moving boats around, storing, maintenance work, etc.    Even has a restaurant where we had lunch - good!    Finally got Catrina lifted out and settled in, Mark did a few more things and we were outta there at 2:15.   Now for the long trip to our other home.....

Here she comes....

So, while we're disappointed we didn't get Catrina to Florida, we'll just wait and see what the mechanics and reps from Mack Boring (who did our initial re-build of the engines and that's when the trouble started) are going to do?

We were looking forward to Georgetown, Beaufort, Charleston, etc.    I was anxious to see if the new building of what was destroyed by the terrible fire was coming along (or if it even happened?)   In September, 2013 when Linda, Vicki and I were there and had so much fun shopping at Doodlebugs (wonderful children's shop) .   That was one of the 4 businesses destroyed in the fire.

Soooo, onto Daisy and wait for the next adventures!   We had planned to spend a few weeks in Michigan, but shifted gears and heading to Pensacola to see Ryan and help him out with
some projects!

It was beautiful today coming thru western MD, WV and PA.....hilly, pretty farm country and the sun came out, so a nice late afternoon/evening to travel.

We stopped for a quick supper at KFC in Waynesburg, PA.    Spending the night in Cambridge, OH.

Enjoy your July 4th weekend - be SAFE and have FUN!
