HOT, STEAMY greetings from Meridian, Mississippi. We traveled 270 miles today and arrived here at the Bonita Lakes RV Park around 2:00. We were at this same park last fall on our way to Ryan's for Thanksgiving.
Stopped in Henderson, TN at Brenda's Kitchen for breakfast (thee flakiest biscuits)!
We were on the hunt for some ice cream....not many choices. This town of 40,000+ has 2 hospitals and many other medical buildings, but their downtown area is hurting. We did enjoy our banana split (Mark) and waffle bowl (me) at Baskin Robbins.
Forgot to mention that 2 days ago when we were in Nauvoo, we ate at Annie's Custard....their specialty was homemade Belgian waffles and custard. What a cute little spot and Mark said his waffle was the best ever! My custard (chocolate mint chip/oreo )was delish, too.
Tomorrow we are off to Mobile, AL....picking up Michael and Davis at the airport and then to Pensacola We'll be at the big Pensacola Beach air show on Saturday! Stay tuned....
