Saturday - December 3

Ahhh...soo fun to be in FL enjoying this lovely weather as we hear snow is predicted for back home tomorrow!   UGH!

After a delicious breakfast casserole, cranberry/walnut bread and fruit, Ruth and I went for a 40-minute walk around Sue's neighborhood.    Nice little outing as we checked out the Christmas decorations and got in almost 5,000 steps.

The girls sitting around in their jammies, drinking coffee and checking phones, I-pads, etc.

Babes (Ruth, Connie, Sue) in the pool

Enjoyed rest of the afternoon sitting by the pool, chatting, etc.

Some of the gals (Brenda, Tamara and Marsha) went to UPS to mail some of their shopping home and then brought back a wonderful coconut cream pie from Rib City.

Ryan and crew arrived in Key West this afternoon.....they've been anchored out on the Shark River past 2 days!

Mark went to Liam's hockey game this morning which his team won 7-1 - Liam got a hat trick (he scored 3 goals)!    Mark and friends, Darrel and Pat drove to Naperville this afternoon for basketball games (men and women) for IL Wesleyan.

We gals went to the "Night of Lights" at the Edison/Ford Museum - it was a beautiful evening to stroll the grounds and enjoy the spectacular lights with all the rooms decorated for Christmas.

Thomas Edison greets us as we arrive at the Museum

A wonderful water show - very colorful and coordinated to Christmas music

Afterwards, we had a late supper at the McGregor Grill - delish!    Great ending to another fun day!

Luke helped Mommy trim the tree tonight as Maeve was her happy little self!
