Tuesday - July 2

Rainy Tuesday morning and then mostly cloudy.    When the sun came out (little bits here and there and more so late afternoon, whew....it was really steamy and sultry!)     We exercised, had breakfast and then off to do laundry.    While the washers were doing their thing, we went to Ink Corner Cafe for coffee/latte and thee most wonderful raspberry scone.   Mark does not like scones as sometimes  they are dry and crumbly.    These were so moist and just yummy.

From the laundromat, we drove to Liverpool and did some shopping and on home.     More packing this afternoon, Mark got a haircut and got some estimates for fiberglass work and a cleaning/polish job on Catrina's upper station while we're gone.

Went to Mariachi's Mexican for dinner - this place is close by but we had never been.    Doesn't look like much from the outside, but colorful and clean inside and got good reviews.    Enjoyed our dinners and my sangrita!

Mailed some cards at post office and drove around a bit - nice evening.   Home and then walked around the marina.   Looking forward to tomorrow night when the marina is having a big potluck for the boaters followed by fireworks right down the river off a barge which we saw tonight.   Lots of boaters already lined up along the wall by the Waterfront Tavern - getting a prime spot to watch the skies light up.
