Thursday - October 22

A typical Fort Myers day - sunny and warm with the palm trees swaying in the breeze.

We had sausage/cheese omelets and toast and then off to CVS for our flu shots.    Walked in, waited, and got the shots just a few minutes later,    Mark's brother Jim said he and Lydia went to 5 different Walgreens till they found one that had the vaccine as there seems to be a short supply in their area.    Our pharmacist said they are giving 10-15 flu shots a day.

Picked up some piddlies at CVS and Mark brought me home.    He went on to Galloway Ford for an oil/filter change in Big Red.   I made some big-time waves getting more stuff put away, clothes organized, etc.    Also made a batch of BBQ.   Just a little bit more in the she shed to organize, but I ran out of steam!     There's always tomorrow...

We rode our bikes late afternoon but pretty sticky and humid, so it was a short ride!   Time to get back in the biking/walking groove.   Mark hopes biking will feel good on the back?

The days are really warm (the locals say this is unusual for October), but the mornings and evenings are so pleasant!    We went for another walk around 6 and then sat on the patio.    It was delightful!
