HAPPY BIRTHDAY to LIAM
This fine young man is 20 today! WOW.....Liam is a joy to hang out with - respectful and kind with a great sense of humor. He's a sophomore at the University of Iowa and doing very well along with his part-time job. Very proud of our Liam Patrick!
Whew....what a big day. I left Flo at 6:40 AM and got back at 6:55 PM . I picked up Brenda and Sue at the Hyatt and we were off to Publix in the Sanibel Beach Plaza. Steve and Connie arrived shortly after and we all got in Steve's car and he was our chauffeur for the day heading to Captiva and our cruise. Traffic was crazy......but we got there in plenty of time and were the 1st to board the Lady Chadwick (120 passengers today).

(Friends since the '70's)
It was a spectacular day on the water - warm and sunny. We cruised to Cabbage Key for lunch - (Brenda, Connie and I had the grouper special with rice and beans which was wonderful; Sue had shrimp).
After lunch at Cabbage Key Pat, Brenda, Connie, Sue
The dolphins put on a spectacular show frolicking along the boat and jumping around - just awesome - 6 of them!
Took a very long time to get off the island from Captiva to Sanibel to the bridge with very heavy traffic - over 2 hours.
Steve did his own thing today and enjoyed his grouper at Doc Fords on Sanibel. He dropped Brenda, Sue and I off at the Publix parking lot and we said our good byes and BIG thanks for driving. We'll see he and Connie tomorrow night.
Sue and Brenda wanted to pick up something simple from Publix for supper, so they shopped and then I took them back to their hotel. Se should all sleep well tonight after all that fresh air. Good to be back on Flo and I yakked with Mark about my big day. He enjoyed a quiet day.
Had a good chat with Liam....he told us he's taking piano lessons (class)!
What a versatile guy!
