Monday - July 23

We packed in a big day......starting with a stop at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast

Choosing just the right donuts

Off to the metro and DC.   We toured the National History Museum and had lunch at the American History Museum

Brady and the Titanoboa (largest snake to ever be displayed in the Smithsonian).   It is 48' and longer than a school bus!

3 men at the Smithsonian (American History)

The guys walking to the Air and Space Museum

The highlight of the day was actually visiting all the museum gift shops where they each bought some souvenirs.    Back to Daisy and they played mini golf, swam and played chess

Some deep thoughts going on before the next move

Went to Joe's for pizza/shrimp/spaghetti and then back here for some games
(blitz and LCR).

It was a very fun first day....as we were walking to the metro to return home, Brady said "You all thought I would need a stroller, but my legs didn't even get tired"!!!   He was a trooper!   He also said "DC is a lot of walking"!!!

Don't you just love when they still want to hold your hand?
