It was a fun Sunday for us.....after breakfast we drove to Duncan's Family Campground in Lothian, MD (130 miles) Settled Daisy in and took off in Toad to explore the area and check out another campground for where we thought we would stay when we have the boys with us next week. Stopped at Arby's for a yummy chicken/pecan salad sandwich and then more driving thru the DC suburbs in MD and VA. We'll scope out more tomorrow when we may take the metro into DC. It's all about showing our boys a good time!!!
Decided to drive to Annapolis (one of our favorites). It was hot today and the ice cream shops were doing a brisk business. We have 2 restaurants that we always eat at when we come here - Davis' Pub and The Chart House. Had supper at Davis' Pub - always get the crab cake sandwich. Has started raining here as we arrived back on Daisy. So glad to hear they got some rain back home!

Hi Pat: A belated congrats on Ryan making the Blue Angels. Brooke called with the good news right away, but I have been really busy, busy with two little darlings. Have not been on the computer much in the last week only checking emails once a day and then on to some other game, meal, bounce house, movie rental, movie, Camp Lake James and today a full day at the lake. Fun day and after going to Judges for dinner I collapsed on the sofa where I proceded to go to sleep. Did manage to get a load of wash in the washer. Now am catching up on your travels this week. I think I only read one day or so. The Metro is the way to go in DC I think. We stayed in Arlington and rode it in all week many, many years ago when the Metro was brand new. It seems like I have heard of a bus service that you can purchase and get on and off at will to see all the sights. Well, nite, nite I need to get that load of clothes into the dryer. Judy
