Thinking back to 3 years ago today - 7/7/09 and we were at Denali National Park in Alaska when Mom died. Love and miss you soooo much, Mom!!!!!!!
We left Michael and Brooke's at 10 AM today and started our trek across NC - just the 2 of us after a very fun, busy, hot week with family and friends - only downer was not having Ryan with us!!!! Was a very quiet ride today - ha!!!! But we'll be back in 2 weeks to pick up Drew, Davis and Brady and off to Washington, DC for more fun, history and culture!
Tonight we are in Williamston, NC (260 miles) and parked in a big open field at the Pierce RV Park.
Received an e-mail tonight from a high school classmate that another classmate died this morning.......oh my....sweet Buffy (Marian) who I last saw one year ago at our 45th class reunion. She had a long battle with cancer and is survived by her husband, 7 children and 19 grandchildren.
