Saturday - May 2

Hear Ye Hear Ye.....the Princess has arrived in London and the world is all aflutter!!!!   She is a beauty!   Congratulations to the Royal Family!    Nice to wake up to that happy news this Saturday morning.

Anne and family came and took the porch furniture - looks great on their porch and now they will
all enjoy it as much as we have these past 11 years.

Got Daisy cleaned up and organized - things are shaping up.    Steve came and filled his van with another load - those mini vans sure do hold a lot!

Mark installed some new window treatments in the guest bedroom at Anne and Patrick's.   His Mom remains in the hospital - feeling ok, but doctors are running more tests.

Found this little guy strutting on the driveway yesterday.   Wondering where he came from as there is no water around here?
Are you lost, Mr. Duck?

Misty eyed today with e-mails from friends wishing us well  and then found a very nice gift on front porch from our neighbors across the street (Sue does our yard work).   It was a picture taken at night of front entrance to our house with the light shining on the American flag, front door with house # (1922) above and note cards to match!   How special!

Late this afternoon we went for a drive in the country and checked out the Kamp Komfort RV Park/Campground near Carlock which will be Daisy's IL home when we are back here.   Had delicious dinner at Baxter's and able to see the Kentucky Derby (lots of prom kids there).   Stopped at Meijer's and then HyVee.   Home to put groceries away and went for a walk around the block on this
 beautiful spring evening.
