What a day!
Here come the Blues
Oh wow.....this Mama's buttons were popping big time watching the flyover of the Blue Angels tonight! Lady Gaga was amazing and then to see Ryan and the Blues come soaring over
Levi Stadium - ooooooh!!!!!!
Love all this patriotism....
We drove to Fisherman's Village Punta Gorda to meet our long-time boating friends (8 couples total)
for lunch at The Captain's Table. We got there around 10:30 and met Paul and Kathy for coffee - sooo good to see them! It was really chilly and windy today. The rest of the group trickled in - most of them we had not seen since last year's luncheon. Great food, friends and lots of chatter!

Back to Daisy at 4:30 to grab our desserts (thanks to Publix....key lime pie, red velvet cake and brownie bites w/football rings) we went to the Clubhouse for potluck. Tom and Sue, our park managers grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and rest of us provided so much good stuff.
We all cheered as Lady Gaga did her beautiful rendition of the national anthem and then......
the Blues!
So much pride!
Well....the outcome of the game wasn't what we were hoping for - a Panther win! And I feel sad for Michael and Randy;; however, what a memorable experience for them!!!
But also, a great victory for Peyton Manning!
Tomorrow we are off to Fort Myers for 1 week - lots of visiting, shopping and eating coming up!
