Wednesday - February 3

Beautiful sunshiny day with balmy breezes and 81 degrees.    We did yoga, then to the Brown Cow Sweetery for breakfast (great quiche) and then we drove out in the country north of Okeechobee - real swampy area with a 3-mile path for biking, walking and running.   It's near a water treatment plant and 2 of the guys here in the park told us about another place to ride!    We were out in the middle of nowhere - just us and nature, along with several gators sunning themselves and a multitude of various birds.   We rode 6 miles.

We saw several sizes of gators, but this was a "baby" with his head held high catching the rays

Back to Daisy for a rest, lunch, little nap and I did more biking around the park.    Happy hour at 4 and then Mark and I enjoyed a nice steak dinner at The Speckled Perch Steakhouse (absolutely no seafood served here) - all steaks, 1 chicken and 1 pasta dish each.    Really good and recommended by the folks here in the park.

When we got back to Daisy, whoaaaa.absolutely beautiful evening with a star-lit sky that was like "WOW"!!!!

It's a "name" thing....here in the park, "Kathy", "Sue", "Dennis" and "John" seem to be very popular!
At Yoga, the big name is "Sharon" (one of the Sharon's is from Rochelle, IL)

Major Hunk....
aka LUKE!
