Travels of Mark and Pat: Friday

Another awesome day - sure going to miss this incredible New York weather!!! Sunny and 74 very pleasant degrees. Love opening Flo's windows and all that fresh air! We had breakfast (last of the apple fritter bread) and then off to Syracuse with a quick stop for a final coffee/latte at the Ink Corner Cafe.

We were on the hunt for some new carpet in Catrina......found 2 different patterns, so plenty of time to decide as we won't be back till next June. EXCEPT, after we were back on Flo, Marianne (sales person) called to tell us BOTH patterns we liked had been discontinued! WHAT????? Unreal....so, we're back to the drawing board! ARGHHH!

Went to Target and on home......Mark left after lunch to do the final preparation for Catrina being stored for several months.

We went to EssKay and had one final gathering with Seward, Meg, Phoebe and Mike. Said our good byes and hugs to Meg and Seward, Ethan, Kim and Tammy. (I hate good byes)! What a fun summer we've had with these friends!!!

Mike drove us to dinner in Syracuse (where he lives) and we had a fabulous dinner at Francesca's - excellent and along with wine and lots of chatter....made for a very special evening.
