Saturday - September 14

Warm and sunny.....Connor was a big help this morning doing some odd jobs around the house AND making 2 loaves of delicious banana bread.   Since I've not not done much in the domestic-line-of-duty, it was fun to be working in a kitchen again!

Mark took the boys to Busy Corner for lunch and then to Kamp Komfort to get some clothes and things from Flo.    I did some jobs around the house, laundry, dead-headed the flowers and watered, etc.

Connor had a double header starting at 3:30 - after 3 successive wins, today was not pretty with 2 losses (10-0 and 5-3).    The other team (Pleasant Plains) had a perfect game going as none of our team had reached base.    And then in the bottom of the 7th, Connor got the only hit of the game and only base runner!   

Picked up Avanti's for supper and on home!    We are all tired, especially our baseball star!    Tomorrow, taking a break from baseball and onto hockey with Liam.

Holy moly.....who is this?    Maeve?   What happened to all your curls!    I guess a good night's sleep and a bit of bed head will do this?
