Wednesday - September 4

Lots of rain overnight (great sleeping on Flo) and then around 7, a good ole-fashion thunderstorm happened with thunder, lightning and heavy rain.....didn't last too long.     A few hours later when the sun was shining, we had another brief downpour!    But rest of the day was sunny and breezy,

We made big-time waves on Flo......things are looking good and out stuff put in its place with a pile for Goodwill, to take back to Bloomington storage, etc.

We did facetime with Maeve and Annette (little bit with Philip, too).    Maeve was seriously into her art work - cutting, pasting, etc.....hope she'll make something special to hang on Grandma's fridge.

So, it was 11:30 and with Flo about 85% organized, we took off for lunch - Brewerton Diner was 1st choice, but darn - closed Wednesdays (have new fall hours).    So, went to the Brick House Cafe - very good.    Off to Catrina and oh my, it has become crazy windy.    We got things all ship shape and ready to be delivered to Winter Harbor tomorrow after Mark does a few more things in the morning.

Off to Colonial Laundromat and while I did 6 loads + Catrina's bedding, Mark ran some errands including a stop at Goodwill    It was 5:30 when we finished, so decided to stop at Wegman's and get some Chinese-to-go.    They have an awesome food bar - everything you could want!    DELICIOUS!

Got our stuff put away, enjoyed our dinner and then I walked in the park to get my 10,000 steps.    It has really cooled down....51 by morning.

So heartbreaking to see the aftermath of Dorian in the Abacos - we were there in 2012 with Catrina - such a neat and beautiful bit of paradise but now in ruins.   Praying for the victims and their families and sooo many affected by this terrible tragedy.

A sweet memory from 9 years ago today...
