Sunday - September 15

A very wet Sunday morning with lots of thunder and lightening.   We had breakfast and just lounged around before 11:00 Mass at St. Pat's of Merna.    Beautiful liturgy by Father Bolek and singing by contemporary choir.    Nice to see some familiar faces that I hadn't seen in a while, including my favorite therapists at MCO - Lee and Donna.    Mark was pleased that he was able to fully genuflect since the incident with Jack Dempsey 8 weeks ago!!!

Patrick called and sounded really good,,,,hoping to come home tomorrow!

This is Lauren, one of Patrick's nurses.    She used to be an ice sweeper for the Blackhawks - but now a nurse for 5 years.   Imagine those 2 had a lot to chat about!!!

While Mark and Liam went to Lowe's to get some light bulbs, Connor and I went to Starbucks.   Then to CVS for prescriptions and on home.    Changed clothes and Connor set to work making another batch of banana bread and Liam mowed the front lawn.     With the sun coming out and nice breeze, grass was pretty dry.

Getting the chores done around the house!

Connor left with a friend to play golf and Mark took Liam to hockey - we'll go to his game later.   When Connor got home, he finished mowing.

The Constitution Trail is very close here and I had a great walk yesterday.....this afternoon I made mini meat loaves for the freezer.

Went to the game on the big ice at the Coliseum.    The Bloomington Sharks were playing their first scrimmage game (hockey players from area high schools).    Liam scored the first goal, but then it was all downhill and we lost 7-2.    Fun to see Liam back in action!

We ordered Little Caesars Pizza (Liam's choice) for supper.

Maeve and Luke hanging out on a Sunny September Sunday!

No school tomorrow....
