Saturday - June 17

Woke up to sunny skies AND...............................mayflies!!!   Oh dear, they are back for this season (2+ weeks) when the winds are from the north.   I was so hoping we could get past 2 more weeks as we have several visitors coming.    What a nuisance and they are on everything.   Mark blew them off and then hosed down the boat but they are extremely pesky and just keep coming back.

We took Catrina out for a little ride, anchored out and enjoyed lunch (chicken salad sandwiches).    When I bought this the other day, I was surprised that it was a brownish color?    Strange for chicken salad, but it's really good and now to figure out what ingredient is making it that color?    My friend Claire is soo good about analyzing a food item and what's in it???    Very hazy sunshine today.

Back to the marina and later ran some errands including a few groceries at Baby Bassett's - everywhere we go, the mayflies were all over buildings, signs, anything sitting outdoors!  They are especially attracted to lights, so.....tonight Mark will cover our electric pedestal.

HAPPY   FATHER'S   DAY!
