Tuesday - June 6

The boys woke up, had their muffins we got from Coffee Express yesterday, gathered their stuff and on their way at 6:55 AM.    Big hugs and thank you for Grandma and Grandpa - great kiddos!!!

One last selfie
Head-to-head with Connor the winner and Liam is just a tad above Connor!
Bye guys - thanks for coming!
I hate good byes!   😥

Stripped the beds, tidied up Catrina and on with the day!   Mark walked over to where all the action is with big crane pulling out steel cylinders which will be replaced with new  cylinders for track (travel lift) and go 40' into the ground under water.   Wow....what a process and even Catrina is vibrating!

Plenty of action here at Superior Marine

The noise from the crane engine was deafening so around 10ish, Mark said "let's get outta here!   So we drove to Fremont and had lunch at Tackle Box II - last summer we came here and it was very hot.    The AC couldn't keep up, but today we sat outside and so pleasant and lunch was delicious +++so much interesting decor (owner is a BIG garage sale collector from way back).    In fact, when we got there, the owner (Danny Stephens) in his bib overalls and large dog were sitting together waiting to be interviewed by Channel 8 (Fox news out of Cleveland) to tell the success story of Tackle Box II (the first one built in 1991, destroyed by fire in 1994 and rebuilt that same year)!

Mark had  advertised the old dinghy on Facebook Market Place and had 274 hits!    It sold and was picked up this afternoon by a guy from Cleveland!    Yeah!

The boys are back home safe 'n sound!    I walked around the marina tonight - it is a beautiful evening.   So appreciate Terry and crew who planted lots of pretty flowers over the weekend - in the ground, pots and planters around the marina.
