Sunny start to the day and Mark was off to get a haircut by Gina. Then we picked up Allie and Owen and off for a big day of sightseeing, eating and oohing and aahing at the beauty of Catawba Island, Lakeside-Marblehead.
First stop was R Coffee Corner and then Allie and I took off for some retail therapy. Several stops later (shopping, browsing, etc.) we had a wonderful lunch at the Orchard Farm Stand sitting out in the gardens with beautiful flowers, vineyards, etc.

Tonight we went to Gideon Owen Winery - such a beautiful place and delicious dinners. Afterwards we sat beside the fire and enjoyed raspberry chocolate martinis (Allie and me) and decaf coffee for the guys. Sooo pleasant. And the grand finale was sharing their gooey butter cake with ice cream and raspberry sauce. My oh my!
