Labor Day - 2024

Brrr....woke up to strong winds, sunshine and chilly temps.   Sad morning saying good bye to our fun Lake Erie friends and my "boat sisters" as they all left to go to their homes.

We left for R Coffee Corner (last time) and then laundry.    Both were very busy this holiday and think we got the last 3 wash machines!    Got that job done and on home to put our clean stuff away and have lunch,

Later in the afternoon we took Catrina for a pump out and then tied up along the wall just in front of the travel lift as tomorrow's the big day!   😢

It's always sad to end the boating season but looking forward to fall and seeing family and friends in IL and NC and then onto Cypress Trail!

Mark finished up all the last-minute things to do on Catrina and then we were off to Dock's Beach House for dinner.    Fun place with good food but tonight it was chilly even though they had the big garage-style doors down on 2 sides.

I had a chilly, windy walk around the marina.....we are all alone tonight - boaters have gone home after the holiday weekend.   13 boats, Flo and us....

Fort Myers recorded their wettest summer ever with 44" of rain from June 1 - August 31.   WOW!!!    That's quite a record breaker!  ☔☔☔
