Sunday - September 1

 WELCOME September!!!

Nice day starting with 10:30 Mass at Immaculate Conception for last time this season.    Father Mark presided (Father Jonathan will return next week).    This week is the 100th birthday of Immaculate Conception School and they're having a big party!

On home to make things for tonight's potluck....Mark scrubbed some of the fenders one last time and they look great!    Michael here at the marina has his brother and family here for the weekend.   Nick (brother) and son Marcus (5th grade) took our dinghy out for a little spin and use up the gas before season ends.   One less job for us and they enjoyed their ride + gas ran out before they came back, so they paddled awhile!

We had a birthday celebration for Dennis (last Monday, the 26th) and a farewell for Mark and me as we're the first to leave this season.....big potluck under the tent that was so much fun and so much food and so many laughs.   We'll sure miss these folks....hoping Chris, Michael, Bob and Donna will come to Fort Myers in February.

Started with lots of appetizers and them Michael and Bob grilled steaks + baked potatoes  along with pasta salad and baked beans and then a big ole chocolate cake!

Michael's brother Nick and Jill _ their kids Katie and Marcus + their foreign exchange student from Germany along with friends of Bob and Donna's (Bruce and Christine) and Dan (friend of Dennis) made for a great gathering!
