Hello from the Isle of Hope Marina near Savannah. We left Darien at 9 this morning and cruised thru lots more marshland for a total of 70 miles arriving here at 2:15. What a welcome sight to see our friends Glen and Paula from Fort Myers waiting on the dock. Their sail catamaran, "Freestyle" is docked right in front of Catrina. Nice marina with friendly folks. Laundry was top priority, so did 3 loads which took for..............ever since they only have one washer and one dryer. Glen and Paula came onboard for drinks, snacks and lots of chatter.

The street behind the marina is full of lovely homes (many with white picket fences)......what a treat! Here are a few of my favorites.
We are five miles from Savannah, so won't be seeing that lovely city this trip, but enjoyed our visit there in 2007. Tomorrow....onto Beaufort, SC.
