May 1....................long day of travel. Checked on our little Luke sleeping peacefully and very reluctantly, we were backing out of the driveway at 4:28 AM and on our way. Mark and I really had the "hungries" today.....piggin' out on junk food - chips, ice cream, candy, fries etc.....arghhhh! Had a little rain off and on in FL, but most of the day was very nice for traveling despite heavy traffic around Atlanta and Nashville. He did most of the driving - 3 hours for me
Annette and Philip told us Luke was fussy today - WHAT? Luke is never fussy, such a good baby? Obviously he is sad that his Grandma and Grandpa left.....what a honey! Makes me so sad just thinking of him and will so enjoy looking at all the pics I took.
We are in Paducah, KY tonight after 15 hours - whew....tired. After checking into our hotel, we walked (that felt good) across the street to Texas Roadhouse - hadn't been to one of these for ages and it was very good.....rib eye for Mark, ribs for me and then these wonderful sweet potatoes with marshmallows and caramel sauce.....wow!
