Saturday - July 6

The majority of today was sunny and warm……Mark and I exercised, we had breakfast with the boys and the guys did stuff outdoors.   I did 3 loads of laundry, tidied up the house.    After lunch, we played one round of dominoes (Mark, boys and I)    Michael and Brooke got Drew off for his European adventure, they shopped and had lunch in Charlotte and arrived back here at 2.  .   Had a few quick showers, but…..what’s a few sprinkles when we’ve had sooo much past few days?      Brooke, Brady and I played 3 games of Sequence (I won 2 and Brooke, 1).
We went to 5:00 Mass at St. Charles Borromeo in Morganton and met and visited with Father who will baptize Luke next Sunday.    Had a quick downpour when we were coming out of church and then off to a delicious Mexican dinner at ElPaso.     On our way back to the lake, we were “planning” to change clothes and take the pontoon for the fireworks display…..oh my, it rained sooooo hard.    So.......we decided we are not going - along with the crazy weather, there is lots of floating debris in the water and not good to come back into the dock when it's dark!
We all watched "The Grown-ups"   - sooo funny!
Time to call it a night...as the rain continues................
