Friday - November 1

It's All Saints Day and we went to 10:00 Mass at St. Francis.    Got the exercising out of the way 1st thing.....and after Mass stopped at the Java Coffee House, said "hi" to our friend, Mike and enjoyed a coffee/latte and shared a cranberry/orange muffin.     Their bakery items are sooo good!

I never know when a memory of Patrick will pop up - something I hear or see that triggers my emotions and brings on the tears.    Last night at the Halloween party, the DJ played "Sweet Caroline" and I was all teary eyed - that was a signature song for Jury's Out and his fans would sing their hearts out with words and actions.    The crowd at Cypress Trail was no different as everyone loves that song!

This morning at the end of Father John's homily, he sang "When the Saints Go Marching In" and once again....more tears as that was the recessional song at the end of Patrick's funeral mass.

Some of the gorgeous bougainvillea here at the park

 Spectacular blooms

Quiet afternoon on Flo including a little power nap, reading, etc.

Tonight we met Connie, Steve, Sue and Jerry at Bahama Breeze - always good food, but so noisy!    Best part was being together with these long-time friends....great evening!

Enjoy your weekend!
