Wednesday - November 6

Whew,,,,the smoke was back today.    Shortened my walk as certain areas of the park were not good with a haze hanging over.    Yesterday Claire and I drove past the site of the fire which started Sunday - no visible sign that it was still burning but apparently as someone said today - it's smoldering and could go on like that ???

Did our weights in the comfort of the she shed.   I got a much-needed haircut (Jewel, hairdresser is such a sweetheart and always enjoy visiting with her).    Stopped at The Grind for an iced latte and calcium pills at CVS - good to go and on home!     Mark and I shared a delicious sandwich (multi grain toasted bread with 3 cheeses, bacon and tomato) grilled to perfection.  This was from today's food truck (Ma Petite Creperie).

Mark was on Flo's roof checking AC (Flo has 2 units) - those babies have run non-stop since we got here on 10/20.    There's a few things we'll have the Airstream folks check on when we take in for final warranty work in January.

Started packing today for Wisconsin trip this weekend - long pants, socks, winter coat, gloves, earmuffs.....going to be a big change after all this 90-degree weather!
