Tuesday - August 25

A much better day - Drew is feeling better  and no symptoms for us - now we just wait!    It was 91% humidity when Mark went outside this morning.     We are staying put in Flo (except for learning some of the bells and whistles on my car).

Normally we would've been with the sales person going over all the gadgets, but yesterday, we called Eric along the way and told him what had happened (exposed to the virus) and obviously we shouldn't be getting close.    He really appreciated us telling him as he has 3 small children under 5.     So since the paperwork was all done, he could just turn the keys over and I was good to go.    Between reading the manual and figuring out all the amazing features, wow.....lots to learn!

                                                                           Mama's new wheels

Of all the campgrounds we've been to since the virus, Kamp Komfort is probably the most strict which is a good thing........office, pool, restrooms and pavilion are closed.   No tent camping.   An envelope with Mark's name and several rules and info was taped to the office door.    If anyone experiences symptoms for Covid, they are to remain in their RV or go home!!!

We should be celebrating Connor's Confirmation tonight with Father Stirniman, but not happening, so for the 3rd time, will reschedule.   I told Anne not to choose the 25th (as April 25 and August 25 were the previous dates).

Stunning sunset tonight at Lake James

I was really looking forward to seeing our NC family next week, along with their gorgeous sunsets, hiking in our favorite spots from springtime, etc.    Sadly, not going to happen - stupid Covid!!!!!
