Tuesday - January 5

A very nippy 46 this morning, but the sun is shining and s l o w l y warmed up to 72 late afternoon.

I need to clear something up about this vaccine.....I said Lee County was getting 5,000 doses per day - but it's 5000 for 3 days.     And once we got the call back, that's when that message kept on and on and on with some pretty bad music to go with it!     We are hearing all kinds of stories about the thousands of people who never got thru, or like us, did get a call back and then nothing further and other lucky folks who are scheduled for a date/time to get their vaccine like a couple just around the corner from us here in the park!   Patience for the rest of us till next week!

Did a load of laundry and got the flowers planted.    Rode bikes and went for short walk - not quite in the serious biking/walking mode just yet....sure was a pretty day!

Meanwhile, back in Illinois...
Connor built a snowman during homeroom/lunch today with Liam and friend, Jack

Euchre with Mark and Nancy - the guys beat the gals 2 of 3.
