Wednesday - January 27

We are happy and thankful today after Mark got appt. thru Publix this morning at 6:15.    He will get his 1st vaccine on Saturday at same Publix location as me at 1:12.    He also has appt. for 2nd dose.   We are in Lee County and Charlotte (north) and Collier (south) were all filled by 6:45.    It was nice they showed each county's initial # of vaccines and that # dwindling as appts were filled.

At 9, phone-in reservations were up and operating but only 2500 vaccines and gone by 9:03.     Unfortunately, none of our friends got in today.     It took me 5 tries and 6 for Mark since this all started to book an appointment.

We later went to Java House and then Mark got a haircut and on home.    This is our last really warm day - low 80's, breezy and sunny.    Tomorrow, a high of 70.

We rode our bikes to Dusty's Produce Stand here in the park - a nice every Wednesday feature and Dusty has really good produce from a farm in Cape Coral and also Plant City strawberries.     We had not planned to get our lunch from the food truck today, but noticed, once again, the vendor did not show up.

Did some laundry and after lunch, settled in with my good book.    I finished the 7th and final Clifton Chronicles series by Jeffrey Archer.    They are soooo good!     Played virtual euchre with Mark and went for a walk around 4:30.

Went to Sir Pizza for pick - up.    Our "royal feast"  was delicious

Another early morning coming tomorrow as Mark has to be at St. Mark's at 5:40 AM and since we're 17 miles away, we'll leave Flo around 4:55.
