Wednesday - January 6

Chilly mornings and evenings, but the daytime temps are just perfect with deep blue skies and all sunshine!

We got the therapy out of the way - the she shed was chilly but cranked up the heat, turned Alexa on and we were ready for the back/shoulder exercises!     Mark did a Hardees run for his biscuits and gravy (still need to try Libby's, Bill)!!!

We drove downtown and met our Annapolis friends Charlotte and Doug who are spending the winter on their PDQ (just like Catrina) at Legacy Marina.    So good to see them with virtual hugs, elbow bumps, masks, etc., etc.    We met at the Java Cafe (now under new ownership) and had our pastries and coffee.   (except Mark who had haircut appt.at Dapper Cuts just around the corner.)    We met him afterwards and all of us walked around downtown.    Such a glorious day and so good to be together!     I got in 6,000+ steps we said our good byes, but have a plan for Friday afternoon!

Since it was lunch time and Mark did not have a pastry/coffee, we stopped at Masons for a lobster roll (shared a Connecticut style) and it was excellent!     We sat outside in the sunshine with tables well spaced apart, but no other customers nearby.

We came on home and Mark did a zoom session with our new HOA.    We walked to get our mail and stopped in for a nice visit with Jim and Lydia and brought home 4 truffles compliments again of their son, Paul................wonderful!!!!!!!

24 more Christmas cards today!     Just don't get this USPS and their s l o w service

Sweet memory of Christmas 2020
Annette, Philip, Luke and Maeve

We are very saddened, sickened and heartbroken by the events today in our nation's capitol.
  Praying for our country...

                           God Bless America!
