Tuesday - January 12

Wasn't expecting to wake up to rain this morning - just nice 'n gentle for several hours.    Decided to  run some errands in the rain....so, off to Buckingham Farms for wonderful breakfast - not many folks there this rainy morning and sat outside under their covered porch   Brought our leftovers home, along with some delicious muffins (blueberry today) and their awesome chicken salad.

Had a return at Bed, Bath and Beyond, then to Mario's Italian Market - our friend Beth told us about this place last year - 2nd visit was quite successful buying several goodies!    Stopped at Panera for our free bagel (cinnamon crunch) and a latte for me.    Panera is thanking their customers for sticking with them thru the pandemic, so every day the month of January, they are giving a free bagel (flavor of your choice) to their rewards customers!

On home and enjoyed a leisurely afternoon of reading, a movie and just chillin'.   Mark helped our neighbors, Buddy and JoAnn with their WiFi.

Dreary day with occasional drizzle and a high in the 60's.

We watched Brady's livestream basketball game from Patton High School in Morganton, NC.    They won 43-37 but sad to see the stands almost bare.
