Monday - November 4

Trying to beat the heat so we were walking by 7:30, but still humid!   Did a load of laundry and then ready for canasta at 10 in the clubhouse.

Two tables of 6 played and my group (Vicki H, Sandy and myself) ended up winning after being down quite a bit!   Our opponents were Lydia, Vicki F and Nancy.  Nice way to end the morning!

Came home and Mark said "let's walk, so we did, but it's hot!    short walk, lunch and after resting a bit, we set to work power washing our pavers and she shed.    We are borrowing Jim's power washer and this will take awhile - messy job and I was splattered with dirt!   But eventually we'll get the dirt and grime cleaned from between the pavers!

Today is my Aunt Marian's 96th birthday!    WOW.....she's doing so well.   Big party for her this afternoon.

Cousin Dick, Aunt Marian
Kaylee and Leia (great nieces)

It's amazing as we drive around town, the number of homes that are still boarded up with plywood from Helene and Milton.   I guess they want to be sure hurricane season is over (especially with more threats coming?) before they remove this protection!
