March certainly came in like a LAMB today in Florida. It was a beautiful, sunny 72-degree day - tah dah....what we've been waiting for!
Sarasota and the Ringling Bridge
We left Venice at 10 and cruised past beautiful mansions and dolphins frolicking in front of and around Catrina. We arrived at the Bradenton Beach Marina and after lunch and a good rinsing of the salt off Catrina, we walked to the main road on Anna Maria Island and hopped on the trolley to see the sites. Stopped for a bit and walked and checked out some shops (Irene's Resort Wear was a wonderful spot for girlie fun with a large selection of Vera Bradley, Brighton, cute cute clothes, sandals, etc....) Back on the trolley and then enjoyed the warm sunshine and walked back to Catrina.
The gulf was so calm and the water was that gorgeous bluish/green; however, that's all expected to change tomorrow with strong winds and thunderstorms coming our way followed by another cool down in temperatures!
