Monday - September 8

It was actually pleasant exercising this morning with a cool breeze!   We had breakfast and left at 9 cruising 43 miles to Chester, MD where we plan to stay for 2 nights.    Thought it was to be sunny today, but ominous clouds kept popping up; fortunately, no heavy rain and glad to be tied up in our slip.    All the bad stuff went south of us, so just sprinkles.

Later this afternoon we went for a walk - had planned to take the bikes to the nice trail they have here (we were in Castle Harbor Marina in Chester last August 13-14), but with threatening skies and WINDY conditions, decided on the walk.    Then we got the "hungries" and so stopped at the "Pour House Pub" here at the marina for dessert......this place was called "Shells Yes" last year and needed some spiffing up plus a name change.   New owners came in over the winter and wow.....really nice and new name is "The Pour House".   Mark had 3 warm macadamia nut cookies with a glass of milk in a pint fruit jar.   I had the Guinness/toffee cheesecake drizzled with chocolate and some sliced strawberries.   Both very good and satisfying!    Our sweet teeth sure gets us in trouble!

After our spaghetti supper we walked around the marina - there are many condos surrounding us, so nice areas to walk or bike.
