Wednesday - September 10

We were off at 7:30 this morning  as winds were to pick up.    Had 26 miles to cruise to Dundalk, outside Baltimore.    Really neat following a tall ship with a Navy warship behind us.   Today starts the Star Spangled Spectacular....

Got settled in, had lunch at the Hard Yacht Café (if you eat here, you don't pay for a slip - what a deal.....certainly not a problem for these nomads)!   Good food and fun place!

Mark was picked up by Enterprise to get a rental car, so we'll have wheels the next few days.    Ryan is in Baltimore as of yesterday and rest of the pilots arrived today   Did some tidying up of Catrina and just enjoyed the lovely day - lots of sunshine and 70's after some very dreary days in Chester.

Followed this tall ship going into Baltimore before we turned off to Dundalk
Wish we could've seen it with the sails up

Close up of the Gazela Primeria out of Philadelphia, built in 1883 in Portugal.
WOW...it is a beauty!

Big Navy warship behind us

Had dinner with Ryan tonight at Aldo's Ristorante in Little Italy - delicious!   (Mark and I were here in June of '13)  So good to see our boy and have a nice, leisurely visit

Fun evening with Ryan!
