What a great day in Chicago......we left the hotel around 9, walked along Michigan Avenue, stopped at "Yolk" for breakfast and then onto the Art Institute. Good jaunt, but still a ways to go, so, we got a Uber ride to North Avenue Beach where we watched the show with a bunch of family and friends!
It was hot and sunny and so fun to watch the Blues overlooking Lake Michigan and a jillion boats bobbing around!
Liam and Connor went swimming at the hotel and then we went for a walk thru McCormick Place (Anne and Patrick had a date night - dinner at McCormick & Schmicks.) We met Ryan at 6:30 and the 5 of us walked to Girodano's for dinner. Watched the Sox/Cubs game, enjoyed some great Italian grub and good chatter.
Got a Uber driver to bring us back to the Hyatt. Love this service with very clean automobiles, English speaking drivers, no tipping or $ involved. We know our driver's first name ahead of time, license plate # and type and color of car.
