Rained during the night - nothing like a good night's sleep on Daisy with the gentle rain hitting the roof. But around 7:30, it came harder and I loaded up the car and drove thru lots of rain all the way to Mendota. Finally let up some....I stopped at the Lutheran Home to visit my cousin, Jim, then to the 45th Annual Burkardt Reunion (my Mom's family). Great to see so many kin I had not seen in years! And of course, sooo much wonderful food.
I came back to Mendota to have a nice chat with Aunt Marian at Stonecroft and spending tonight with Bob and Linda. Mark is back safe 'n sound on Daisy from his whirlwind trip taking Brady home.
